Guy guts 400 sq. ft. apt and builds sweet space

Old article from the NY Times about a guy who gutted his 400 sq. ft. apartment and built an efficient and enjoyable space on the cheap.  Looks awesome.

24 Rooms Tucked Into One

This blog was inspired in part by this NY Times article about Gary Chang, an architect in Hong Kong who has renovated his small 344 sq. ft. apartment numerous times in the 30+ years he’s been living there.  His latest renovation uses movable walls and fold-down furniture to enable him to create 24 different configurations for his living space.

Could you live in an apartment like that?  Why or why not?
